Hi Cyazon, how’s it going?
Hello, doing good thank you.
We’ve finally arrived to 2024. We’d love to know more about any upcoming projects you may have in the works! Do you have any new releases coming up this year?
My EP with Circus Electric, a sub-label of Circus Records, was released on February 21. I also have a self-release coming out in April.
Do you have any new upcoming collaborations with other vocalists?
I have nine unreleased songs with vocalists that I’m pitching to labels currently. Those will come out at some point this year.
Do you plan on experimenting and blending dubstep with other genres? If so, what types of musical influences are you looking to explore further?
My sound is going into a more analog and Synthwave sound direction. So, some of my unreleased songs are Dubstep songs, which go in this sound direction. Some musical influences of mine are the artists Nero and Dimension, and I plan to implement the sound of those artists into my music in my own way.
Are there any new pieces of equipment that you’d like to experiment with?
One hardware synth I have been wanting to try out is the Arturia Polybrute Synthesizer.
Do you have plans for connecting further with your fans via livestreaming your music or sets? If so, what platforms were you thinking to experiment on?
At the moment, there are no immediate plans to livestream my music or sets. Maybe in the future I might do so on Youtube, Instagram Live, or Twitch.
Are there new goals you want to achieve in maintaining your work-life balance? If so, how do you go about strategizing that?
I am going with the flow at the moment with my work-life balance so only making music as I feel like it. This way of making music has been perfect for allowing me to work on music as I feel like it as well as enjoy life, focus on self-care, and my personal goals.
Are there any special venues you’d like to play at this year?
No particular venues at the moment as I anticipate I will start to play shows this year so I’m not picky with where I play at.
Are there any goals or projects aside from music that you’re planning to accomplish?
One goal that I’m planning to accomplish is to get into a relationship with someone in particular at some point. Everything is going in the right direction with that. Another goal is to increase my finances, but that will come in easily when the shows happen.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
I’m looking forward to focusing on my personal goals, and seeing how my music career progresses this year.
