Hard dance lovers fall under the hypnotic spell of Gabry Ponte and REGGIO’s latest commission, ‘Ritual’ on Gabry’s club-driven label PENTAPHONIA Records. Pulling heavy inspiration from African tribal sounds, ‘Ritual’ takes those cultural rhythms and smashes them straight into a relentless, pounding club beat resulting in a kinetic combustion of heated energy and pure motivation.
‘Ritual’ is a track that yearns for the listener’s adrenaline. It generates energy through the turbulence of twists and turns, combining classic hardstyle dance beats that rupture the dancefloor with African tribal vocals and instrumentation. The echoed acoustics of the African drums, set against the dark, gritty stabs of the electronic bassline, work together to power the track’s intense drive, while hypnotic vocals spur the audience into a perfectly heavy trance.
