The rising Aussie talent delivers an energising version of Guetta’s latest hit
Breaking Aussie talent CYRIL drops a bouncing remix of David Guetta’s ‘Forever Young’, featuring Alphaville and Ava Max, out on December 6th.
The Australian producer/DJ amps up the energy of Guetta’s original, swapping in harder drums, a pulsating Eurodance-style bass riff and a sharp synth recreation of the melody to form a surefire hit. It’s the follow-up to Hypaton’s euphoric remix, which landed in November.
‘Forever Young’ is a revived version of Alphaville’s well-known singalong classic, and has already amassed over 30 million streams, while it achieved Top 10 European airplay, Top 20 Hot AC and Top 40 airplay charts in the US. Much like Guetta’s smash-hit ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ ft. Bebe Rexha, (3B+ streams), the idea for the single was born on TikTok, where Alphaville’s original was used in more than 3M creations. Guetta added new energy to the track, bringing in vocal powerhouse Ava Max, who performed ‘Forever Young’ at Guetta’s iconic F***k Me I’m Famous! residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza in September (Clip HERE).
