Hi Cammora, pleasure to meet you! How’s it going?
Pleasure to meet you too! All is well!
We’ve finally arrived to 2024. We’d love to know more about any upcoming projects you may have in the works! Do you have any new releases coming up this year?
2024 indeed! I have plenty of works coming out, starting with my single “Get Rid Of That” on March; a very special release with Lazarusman’s amazing freestyling taking the track to another level! As it seems, I am going to have at least one release per month for the next 6 months, so… it is looking busy!
Do you have any new upcoming collaborations with other vocalists or producers?
I do have, yes. I have another record coming out with Jude & Frank at some point this year, while I teamed up with Gregorio once again for a couple of projects. But I have been in studio with a lot of vocalists too, like Mr. V and some amazing up-and-coming talents that I cannot name yet!
Do you plan on experimenting and blending House and Tech House with other genres? If so, what types of musical influences are you looking to explore further?
I always like to experiment with various styles, so I am not stopping now! I’m particularly drawn to integrating more Melodic House music elements into my work, influenced by a wide array of genres such as Trip Hop and Downtempo. These influences allow me to explore richer, more nuanced soundscapes, combining the rhythmic drive of house with the atmospheric depth of trip hop and the laid-back grooves of downtempo.
Are there any new pieces of equipment that you’d like to experiment with?
Yes, there are a couple of new pieces of equipment I’m excited to experiment with. Firstly, the Moog One, which offers incredible depth and versatility in sound design, allowing for richer, more complex layers in productions. Additionally, I’m interested in exploring the potential of new drum machines like the Roland TR-8S, which can add a fresh dynamic to rhythm sections with its vast sound library and intuitive performance features.
Are there new goals you want to achieve in maintaining your work-life balance? If so, how do you go about strategizing that?
Certainly, my goal is to create a structured schedule that balances music production with personal time. I plan to achieve this by setting specific work hours, incorporating regular breaks, and dedicating time for activities like offroad driving (!) and exercise to maintain mental and physical health. Additionally, I’ll use time management apps to efficiently organize my tasks, ensuring I have time to recharge and pursue personal interests outside of work.
Are there any special venues or festivals you’d love to play at this year?
Yes, playing at iconic festivals like Tomorrowland and Coachella has always been a dream of mine. These venues not only offer a massive audience but also represent a coming together of diverse musical talents and fans from around the world. Additionally, performing at a legendary club like Berghain would be an incredible opportunity to connect with the underground music community and test new sounds in an iconic setting.
What new milestones would you like to achieve with your music in 2024?
In 2024, I aim to release a full-length album that showcases my evolution as a producer, blending various influences into a cohesive sound. Additionally, I’d like to collaborate with artists from different genres to explore new creative territories and expand my musical horizon.
Are there any goals or projects aside from music that you’re planning to accomplish?
This year, aside from my music projects, I’m committed to launching a shelter for stray cats, combining my passion for animal welfare with community service. I also plan to explore the world of digital art, creating pieces that visually represent my musical compositions, thereby bridging the gap between auditory and visual creativity.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
This year, I’m particularly excited about the fruition of my album, a project that represents a significant journey in my musical career. Seeing it come to life, sharing it with the world, and hearing how it resonates with listeners are the moments I’m most looking forward to. This album encapsulates my artistic evolution and I’m eager to see the impact it has on my audience and the broader music community.
